Transmutation was a very difficult, complicated, and powerful spell that was created by members of the infamous Northern Pod, and allowed to alter and manipulate the form and shape of a physical object or a fellow life-form.
Description[]
The spell allowed a merperson to alter and manipulate the form and shape of any physical object, including a fellowe life-form or a type of fruit, such as an apple. In order to perform the spell, some crucial ingredients must be mixed together to form a pink, thick goo-like substance, and for then added to the large container of water. As the next step, a merperson used their hydrokinetic abilities to control and manipulate the shape of a desired object or subject, which would be covered in a similar, pink goo-like substance until the spell was completed. The spell was also very difficult and complex to master properly, and it was advised to be only performed by experienced casters with a sufficient degree of practice and skill.
It was advised to cast the spell preferably from a short-lived distance, as it decreased the chances of backfire. However, a merperson was able to cast the spell from a distance, if they possessed a sufficient amount of skill and experience. In addition to its complexity, one was required to take the essence from the intended subject or object, and channel it to be able to cast the spell from a distance.
