Emma Gilbert is one of the main protagonists of the series. She is a 16 year old responsible schoolgirl who became a mermaid.
Elliot Gilbert[]
Elliot Gilbert is Emma's younger brother. He is friends with Kim and they are in the same class together at school. Elliot knows how to horseback ride.
Thea Gilbert[]
Thea Gilbert is sister of Neil Gilbert, aunt to Emma and Elliot and sister-in-law of Lisa.
Grandma Gilbert[]
Grandma Gilbert is unnamed mother of Thea and Neil Gilbert. She is Emma's and Elliot's grandmother.
