Telekinesis is the power to move objects and people with the sheer strength of mind.

Overview

Telekinesis is the ability to move objects and people without physical interaction. With this power, the user can levitate objects, hold an object in place, pull objects towards the user, push objects away from the user, and alter an object's directional course. It can be channeled through the sheer concentration or hand gestures, the latter being the most common way to use the power. The exact usage of this power may vary and is seemingly dependent upon the knowledge and skill of the user.

This power can be used to open door locks, even electronic locks. Telekinesis is a very useful power for mermaids and mermen. The Levitation Spell can be used by a mermaid to simulate the power of Telekinesis. In "Truce", this power is also referred to as "Levitation".

Examples

In "Getting Legs", Lyla is shown using this ability to move a photo cube and when she changes the boat's speed. Nixie is also shown using this ability in "Zac's Pool Party". 

In "Zac's Returns to Mako", Zac used this power, when he was under the influence of the Full Moon to push Lyla away from him telekinetically.

In "Aquata Returns", Sirena uses this power to send the Trident out of Zac's hands and into the water and Nixie and Sirena were then shown using this power to send Zac flying.

In "The Seventh Cycle", Ondina and Mimmi use this power to send Cam flying to the ground.

Trivia

• This power is one of those powers that are not featured on "H₂O: Just Add Water", only featured on "Mako: Island of Secrets". It first appears in "Getting Legs".
• It has been shown that almost all natural-born merpeople possess this power.
  • Evie McLaren, a human-turned merperson demonstrated this power shortly after undergoing her metamorphosis, while Emma, Cleo and Rikki have not been demonstrated this power when they became mermaids in "H₂O: Just Add Water". Although, years later, Rikki demonstrated having Telekinesis power when she stopped a glass full of water from moving in "Mako: Island of Secrets".
