Rebel (Nasty Horsie called by Rikki) is the horse that Emma Gilbert rode when she and her brother were getting riding lessons from Ash. Ash warned Emma for not letting Rebel out of her sight, but when Emma returned Rebel to the walking fence, she only let him out of her sight for a brief moment to open the gate. That's when Rebel ate some poisonous plant growing near a tree. Rebel got sick from the plant, and was doing worse by the day. Emma researched horses and figured out that Rebel needed cold to fight the poison. She snuck into his stall and used her Cryokinesis' power to generate snow and cool down Rebel.
