Matthew Okine (born April 12, 1985) is an Australian actor, comedian, musician and radio presenter who portrayes Laurie in H2O: Just Add Water.
Early Life[]
Matthew Okine was born in Brisbane, and is of Ghanaian and European descent. Okine attended Brisbane State High School.[1]
Career[]
Okine has performed stand up at the Sydney Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He has been an actor on a number of films and TV shows. He has hosted Triple J on the radio and How Not to Behave on TV[1].
At the 2015 ARIA Awards, he won Best Comedy Release for Live at the Enmore Theatre[1].
Okine is one half of the children's music duo Diver City[2].
