Only As Young As You Feel is the eleventh episode of season 2 of Mako: Island of Secrets.

Synopsis

Mimmi and Sirena prepare a potion that helps the user to look younger. Ondina adds too much jellyfish extract to Mimmi's body lotion. Rita Santos applies some before a school excursion to the Marine Park, accompanied by Dr. Ross, the park's handsome Director. Rita is unaware that Ondina accidentally altered the potion, which now makes her act younger as well. Evie and Zac have to move fast to stop the excursion from turning into a disaster, while Rita behaves like a young child, threatening to reveal the truth about mermaids when she decides to go for a swim.

Trivia

• The actor who plays as Dr. Ross also portrayed Mitch from H2O: Just Add Water Season 1. It has not been confirmed if Mitch and Dr. Ross are supposed to be the same character.
• It's revealed that Rita can speak dolphin.
• This episode has the longest title of season 2 with a total of six words.
• What Rita does while under the spell: rides on the rocket ride (which David takes pictures of), steals cotton candy that was meant for a younger girl (she calls this foam on a stick), and spends time with new dolphin Heidi (this is where she helps Heidi get acquainted with the Marine Park.
• When David takes a picture of the entire group, Evie is the only one not looking at the camera, most likely due to her worrying about Rita's situation.
• Ondina is the only character who does not go into mermaid form. She was going to towards the end per Mimmi's offer, but not before the former applied the gel to the latter.
• In one scene when Ondina is sticking her tongue out at Mimmi and Sirena, it's pretty obvious that Ondina is breaking the fourth wall.
• The scene when Rita was in the pool at the Marine Park is similar to H2O: Just Add Water Season 2 episode "Fish Fever" when Emma does the same.
