Close Call is the eleventh episode of Season 1 of Mako: Island of Secrets.
Synopsis[]
Sirena is collecting shells on the reef to make bracelets when she spots Zac. Luckily, she escapes without him recognizing her, but he becomes determined that there is another merman on Mako Island after he sees Sirena's tail.

- When Lyla says that they "would be the richest display" alludes to Rikki calling them the "mositurized display" if they ever got caught.
- The second time Sirena goes to collect more shells to make bracelets, Lyla and Nixie arrive just in time to save her from Zac seeing her, but only Lyla finds Sirena and they turn invisible. It is unknown if Zac found Nixie, thought she might've turned invisible offscreen when Zac kept swimming.
