Caught in the Net is the 2nd episode of season 1 of H2O: Mermaid Adventures.
Synopsis[]
Emma competes in a contest, Cleo is stuck babysitting an intern and save an injured sea turtle. Then something unexpected happens...
Plot[]
Emma helps out Elliot with a sandcastle contest, and Cleo has to babysit Miriam, an intern at the marine park. Cleo is talking to Miriam, not noticing that the injured sea turtle, Teddy, has escaped into the ocean. Cleo tasks Rikki with finding it, but ends up losing the turtle whilst fending off an octopus. Emma gets Kim to help out Elliot with the sandcastle, whilst her and Rikki go and find Teddy. Cleo, Miriam and Mr. Lambert attempt to find Teddy by boat. They spot Teddy, Mr. Lambert sending a net down to catch him. Unfortunately, Rikki and Emma are also there, and Rikki gets caught in the net. Cleo creates a large wave as a distraction, and drops Emma some pliers to cut the rope. Rikki is rescued and Teddy returns to the marine park. Emma and Rikki help Elliot out with the sandcastle. They get a positive outcome but fail to obtain first prize.
