Gabe is a lifeguard, the best friend of Luca, and the supervisor of Cam Mitchell.
He, along with Luca, finds Cam talking with his best friend Zac Blakely about the latter finding out that he was born a merman, leading them to reprimand Cam for getting down from his tower and ridicule Zac for being a quitter.
Later, Gabe, along with Luca, finds Zac and his girlfriend Evie McLaren arguing, leading them to taunt Evie about how she can do way more than Zac, causing Zac to become enraged and use his telekinesis power to pull their buggy into the ocean. Gabe and Luca are only spared when Zac is berated by his older sister Mimmi. Zac calms down and releases Gabe and Luca's buggy, allowing them to escape.
