Synopsis[]

Weilan comes up with the idea of using a Chinese Puzzle Box to trap the sea dragon. Cam panics when Carly suggests they take dance lessons.

Plot[]

Veridia and the Mermaid Council summon Rita for her advice on how to take on the dragon. Ondina, Mimmi, and Weilan brainstorm their own ideas and come up with a plan to trap the dragon inside a Chinese puzzle box that they get from Uncle Shen, a kindly antique dealer in the local markets. Carly asks Cam to take dance lessons with her. Zac and Evie show Cam their dance moves before trying to teach him. The mermaids work on the puzzle box and spell to contain the dragon without a break. Cam becomes frustrated with learning to dance and voices his feelings without realizing that Carly is behind him. That night, while Weilan is sleeping in the grotto, Poseidon gets sucked inside the puzzle box right next to her. The next morning, Rita and Weilan (with the puzzle box in her backpack) go to school while Ondina and Mimmi look for the missing Poseidon. Ms. Trumble takes the puzzle box away from Weilan during class. After class, it begins to move on her desk and eventually pulls her inside. The gang must figure out how to get Ms. Trumble and Poseidon out of the box and what to do with it. Cam goes to Zac for help on how to win Carly back.
