Aurora is a rebel mermaid of unknown origins.

History[]

She threatened the Northern Pod which caused Nerissa to relocate her children to the Mako Pod and Australian mainland for their safety. Nerissa apparently drove Aurora away from the Northern Pod. Aurora eventually redirected her threat to the Eastern Pod in China. Nerissa came to help them and fought alongside the Eastern Pod for years. When the battle with the Eastern Pod turned against her, Nerissa went off to face Aurora, who used a spell to turn Nerissa into the Water Dragon. Aurora forced Nerissa to destroy Weilan's pod and made her sleep before presumably fleeing.

Physical appearance[]

Aurora's appearance is unknown. As a mermaid, her hair is let down and she has an orange-scaled tail with an orange-scaled top.

Mermaid Powers[]

Aurora is presumably extremely powerful, since she was able to match the power of Nerissa, one of the most powerful mermaids. She proved to be a threat for the entire Northern Pod and even for Nerissa.

  • Unknown powers: It was unknown what kind of magical power over water Aurora possessed, nor to which pod of a specific Moon Pool she belonged.

  • Moon Spell Control: Aurora presumably mastered the skill at some point in her life, which allowed her to survive the full moon's lunar bewitching influence on every merperson.
  • Extended lifespan: While merpeople did age, their lifespan was far longer than that of humans, allowing them to age at a much slower age than humanly possible. It was unknown if it also applied to human-turned-merpeople, though it likely did, as they appeared to be biologically identical to natural-born merpeople.

  • Weaknesses[]

Aurora possessed all the typical weaknesses of a mermaid.

    Etymology[]

    • Aurora is a name of Latin origins and means "dawn". She is named after the Roman goddess of the dawn.

    Trivia[]

    • It is unknown whether Aurora was a natural-born or human-turned mermaid, and to what pod she might had belonged.
